Cutlet, Fried Potatoes, Mixed Salad, Corn on the cob



Today was leftover day again. I made fried potatoes, corn on the cob, a mixed salad and the last cutlet for J.P. The next two days will be rainy again and I will have plenty of time to find something more interesting.
Ingredients and directions:
3 cold, cooked potato slices were fried with 1/2 onion and some bacon bits.
Today the cutlet was done on the grill by the chef of the house.
2 corn on the cob were boiled for 20 minutes in some water and served with garlic butter.

The salad contained 1/4 iceberg lettuce, 1 shredded carrot and some unsalted peanuts. For the dressing I used salt, pepper, sugar, parsley, juice of 1/2 lemon and olive oil.
Desert: vanilla pudding with home made apple jelly.


Heute war mal wieder Restetag. Es gab Bratkartoffeln, Maiskolben, einen gemischten Salat und das letzte Kotelett für J.P. Die nächsten zwei Tage soll es mal wieder regnen und dann habe ich genug Zeit mal wieder etwas spezielles zu kochen.
Zutaten und Anleitung:
3 gekochte Kartoffeln, in Scheiben geschnitten, wurden in etwas Fett mit 1/2 Zwiebel und etwas durchwachsenem Speck gebraten.
Das Kotelett kamen auf den Grill. Dafür war der Chef des Hauses zuständig.
2 Maiskolben wurden in wenig Wasser 20 Minuten gegart und mit Knoblauchbutter serviert.
Der Salat bestand aus 1/4 Eisbergsalat, einer geriebenen Möhre, ein paar ungesalzenen Erdnüssen. Für die Salatsoße wurden  Salz, Zucker, Pfeffer, Petersilie, Zitronensaft und Olivenöl angerührt.
Nachtisch: Vanillepudding mit selbstgemachtem Apfelgelee.


Idag var det restedag igjen, Det ble stekte poteter, maiskolben, salat og den siste av kotelettene for J.P. De neste to dagene skal det bli høstvær med regn og vind. Da har jeg nok mere tid til å lage noe spesielt.
Ingredienser og framgangsmåte:
3 kokte poteter, i skiver, ble stekt i noen minutter med 1/2 løk og noen bacon terninger.
2 maiskolben ble kokt i 20 minutter. Servert med hvitløksmør.
1 svinekotelett ble lagt på grill. Dette var sjefens jobb.
Med 1/4 isbergsalat, 1 revet gulrot, noen usaltete peanøtter, salt, sukker, pepper, persille, olivenolje, juice av 1/2 sitron laget jeg salaten.
Dessert: Vanilje pudding med hjemmelaget eplegele.
