Peter's Swedish Meatballs

Peter's Swedish Meatballs


1/2 lb. ground pork
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/4 onion, minced
1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
garlic salt
sugar
2 egg  
mustard,
1 carrot minced 
3 dill cucumber, minced, some of the brine as well.


Blend the whole well and form small meat balls. Fry in a pan over the grill until done. Warm up in sauce for serving.


Meatballs, Mashed Potatoes, Veggies and Salad
Sauce:
2 tbls. butter
2 tbls. flour
Brown the flour in melted butter for a minute. Fill up with:
1 cup of beef broth
1 cup of cream
ketchup to taste
salt


The last dinner with friends is eaten and the last good byes are said. We had a great winter down here.  It is always sad to leave all our good friends behind, but that's the way it is every year. 

We made it to Pilot Knob just by sunset. This is close to Yuma, AZ where we have an appointment tomorrow morning. Later in the morning we will continue towards Quartzsite, AZ.

Das letzte gemeinsame Abendessen ist gegessen und wir haben uns überall für diese Saison verabschiedet. Wir verlassen unsere guten Freunde mit der Hoffnung das wir uns im kommenden Winter wieder sehen werden.
Heute sind wir nur bis Pilot Knob gefahren, ganz in der Nähe von Yuma, da wir dort morgen früh eine Termin haben. Anschliessend geht es dann weiter nach Quartzsite, AZ.


Siste felles måltiden er spist og mange farvel sagt. Vi hadde en god tid, men nå er det på tide å starte på hjemturen igjen.
Vi nådde bare til Pilot Knob nær Yuma, AZ. Her blir vi natten over fordi vi har et ærend i byen imorgen tidlig.
Etterpå går det videre til Quartzsite, AZ.
