Pork Ribs and Corn on the Cob


Again a whole day done with scraping paint off the wall and I briefly made a turn to the kitchen to take pork ribs and corn on the cob out of the fridge. 
Steam boiled the ribs for ca 15 min in a little water, then called for the grill helper.

Another pot with 3 potatoes and one corn on the cob (cut in half) were boiling too. 
When the ribs were done on the grill, I added some sour cream to the potatoes and garlic salt to the corn. No sauce, just plain pepper and salt for the ribs.


Wieder habe ich einen ganzen Tag mit Farbe abkratzen verbracht und die Zeit in der Küche war minimal. Nur ein paar Schweinerippchen und einen Maiskolben aus dem Kühlschrank geholt. Die Rippen mit etwas Wasser ca 15 Minuten dämpfen, dann die Grillhilfe anheuern. Daneben einen Topf mit 3 Kartoffeln und dem Maiskolben kochen. Die fertig gegrillten Rippen mit Salz und Pfeffer würzen, vielleicht Senf dazugeben. Einen Klacks Creme Fraiche  auf die Kartoffeln geben.


Igjen gjikk det en hel dag med å skrape malingen fra husveggen, tiden på kjøkkenet var kun kortvarig. Jeg tok noen stykker med svineribbe og 1 maiskolben ut af kjøleskapet. 
Kok ribbestykker ca 15 minutter i litt vann og få grillhelperen til å ta over. 
I en annen kjele koker poteter og mais. Når ribben er ferdig dryss litt salt og pepper over, server poteter med surkrem og maiskolben med litt kvitløksalt og smør.
