Salmon Jamaica


Side dishes: Vegetables and Potatoes
Today my dear husband bought some marinaded salmon. The lable told the salmon was cured with a rub (sugar, salt, vinegar, paprika, onion, garlic, turmeric, mustard and canola oil). 
While the carrots and potatoes were boiling I preheated the oven to 350 F and topped the fish with 1 tsp. sour cream, wrapped the slices in aluminum foil and baked them for 30 minutes. I would have liked baked potatoes to the fish but the sort I had isn't good for baking so we had the usual boiled ones.
The Salmon was very tasty.
Now we are off for summer concert.

Lachs á la Jamaica
Mit Salzkartoffeln und gekochten Karotten. Hätte gerne Gurkensalat gehabt, aber es waren keine im Haus. 
Heute brachte mein lieber Ehemann marinierten Lachs nach Hause. Die Scheiben habe ich dann mit einem Tee. Creme Fraiche versehen und in Aluminiumfolie verpackt. Den Backofen auf 180 C vorheizen und den Fisch ca 30 Minuten garen. 
Die Zutaten für die Marinade: Salz, Zucker, Essig, Paprika, Zwiebeln, Knoblauch, Safran, Senf und Salatöl. Der Lachs war superlecker!
Und jetzt geht es gleich zum Sommerkonzert.
Jamaika laks.
Skulle har også grillet poteter i aluminum foil men den sorten vi har egner seg ikke til det.
Så det ble vanlig kokte poteter og gulrøtter.
Gubben min kjøpte noe lakseskiver idag som var marinert på Jamaica vis. 
Marinaden består av: salt, sukker, eddik, paprika, løk, kvitløk, gurkemeie, sennep og matolje. Jeg toppet laksen med en ts rømme og pakk den så i aluminum. 
Ovnen var set på 180 Grader og fiskepakken ble grilled i 30 minutter. 
Den var kjempegod!
Og nå går vi til sommer konzerten.
