Travelling Abroad

I will be visiting my old hometown of Ahrweiler. It has an intact medival ring wall around the old town with four ports. Many pretty old houses and lots of tourist in the summer time.

The valley got it's name from the river "Ahr" and it is famous for its red wine. If you look on the map you will find the valley north of the more known Mosel area.

Ich werde meine Heimatstadt Ahrweiler besuchen. Die Altstadt ist ganz von einer Ringmauer umgeben. Hinhein kommt man durch einen der vier Tore. Es gibt viele Fachwerkhäuser zu bestaunen. Bekannt ist die Gegend durch den Rotwein und die vielen Weinfeste im Herbst. 

Jeg skal besøke mit fødested Ahrweiler. Den gamle byen er ringet in av en mur med fire porter i. Det er flotte reisverkshus å sjå på. Området er kjent for sin rødvin og mange festivaler om høsten.
